Slide and QR Code Generator

At Captional, our mission is simple: to make real-time captions and translations accessible and easy to use for everyone. We believe that every person should have the opportunity to participate, engage, and feel included in events, regardless of language or hearing ability. To further this goal, we’ve created a straightforward tool that lets you generate beautiful slides with a QR code, making it easier than ever to connect your audience to real-time captions and translations.

What Does the Tool Do?

This tool is designed to help event organizers and presenters quickly create slides that say, “Real-time captions and translation are available for this event.” It also includes a dynamic QR code that updates when you input your unique room code. Here’s what it offers:

  • Customizable Room Name: Click on the room name to edit it, the QR code will update automatically to reflect the change.

A hidden menu can be accessed by moving your mouse to the top-right corner of the page.

  • Color Scheme Selection: Change the color scheme to match your event's branding or personal style.

  • Language Options: Select multiple languages for the slides. If this page is used as a slideshow, it will automatically transition between these languages.

  • Screenshot Capability: Once you're satisfied with your slide, we recommend going full-screen and taking a screenshot to capture it as an image in JPG or PNG format.

How to Make the Browser Full Screen

Before taking your screenshot, you’ll want to ensure your browser is in full-screen mode to get the cleanest capture. Here’s how to do that on both Mac and PC:

On Mac:

  1. Open the browser with your slide.

  2. Click the green full-screen button in the top-left corner of the window, or press Control + Command + F.

  3. Your browser will expand to full screen.

On PC:

  1. Open the browser with your slide.

  2. Press F11 to enter full-screen mode.

  3. Press F11 again if you ever want to exit full-screen mode.

How to Take a Screenshot on Mac & PC

On Mac:

  1. Press Shift + Command (⌘) + 4.

  2. Drag to select the area you want to capture.

  3. Find your screenshot saved on your desktop.

On PC:
